Affiliate Disclosure
Oak Alley Plantation Tours earns a commission when you book through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. That is how it is funded, and it is worth understanding exactly what it does and does not affect.
The commercial arrangement
Links to tours on this site are affiliate links to Viator and to GetYourGuide. If you book after following one, the platform pays this site a percentage of its own commission. You pay the operator's normal price; nothing is added, and the price you see is the price you would see arriving at that listing any other way.
What it does not affect
Ordering and selection are not for sale. Tours are ranked by rating and review volume, and the featured three earn their place on those figures plus the spread of trip types — never on what pays best. Every trip that reaches the plantation is listed, including the cheapest, and two trips that never stop there are listed as well, labelled as drive-pasts, because leaving them out would be more misleading than including them.
Where the prices and ratings come from
Prices, ratings, review counts, durations, group caps and cancellation windows are read from the operators' own listings and were captured on 26 August 2026. They are indicative. Operators change prices, run promotions and withdraw departures without notice, and the figure at checkout is the one that binds. Ratings are the operators' own published figures, taken from each listing's star breakdown rather than its summary line, which is why some differ from the number a search result shows.
Ratings are not this site's ratings
No review on this site is written by anyone connected to it. Traveller comments are paraphrases of reviews left on the operators' platforms, attributed to the reviewer's display name, country and month, and tagged to the trip they were left on. Criticism is kept in. No rating or review count is emitted as this site's own structured data, because they are the operators' figures and presenting them as ours would be a misrepresentation.
Facts about the plantation
Opening hours, ticket prices, closure days, access rules and the history come from the Oak Alley Foundation's own published pages and, for the building record, from the Library of Congress documentation of the site. Where the Foundation's own pages disagree with each other — its home page and its admissions page give different closing times — the figure the sheet and the home page share is used and the discrepancy is not hidden. Where nothing official is published, such as a child admission band, that is said plainly rather than estimated.
Independence
Oak Alley Plantation Tours is not the Oak Alley Foundation, is not affiliated with it, and cannot sell you a gate ticket. Nothing here is endorsed by the Foundation or by any tour operator. For official admission, group bookings or the cottages, go to the Foundation's own site.
